Our Story
2020
The Idea
FLXDB started as a personal project — a spreadsheet of films and ratings that grew too big for one person to manage alone.
2021
First Public Beta
The first public version launched with 10,000 titles and a small but passionate community of early contributors.
2022
Community Explosion
Word spread. FLXDB grew to 100,000 members and added TV shows, anime, and a full news section powered by community editors.
2023
Global Expansion
Launched support for 40 languages and expanded the database to include international cinema, documentaries, and short films.
2024–2025
Today
FLXDB is now home to over 2 million members worldwide. We're still independent, still community-powered, and still growing every day.
